What is a S.T.E.P.P. Group?
Sharing of our lives
Teaching of God's Word
Encouraging one another
Prayer as we work God's will
Praising God for Who He is.
Current Groups
We have groups meeting Monday evening, Thursday morning, and Thursday evening.
What happens at a S.T.E.P.P. Group meeting?
(We follow the model found in the Bible in Acts 2:42-44)
1. We study the Bible.
2. We build friendships.
"....and to the fellowship..."
3. We have communion, if the group chooses.
"....to the breaking of bread..."
4. We pray for each other.
"....and to prayer..."
5. We support each other.
"... they gave to anyone as he had need..."
6. We have fun together.
"...and they ate together with glad and sincere hearts..."
7. We open ourselves to others.
"...and the Lord added to their number daily
those who were being saved."
You are invited to join a group! Home groups are an encouraging way to get to know other brothers and sisters in the Lord, and learn about God's Word. Those interested in leading, hosting or attending can contact the church office at office@sciobaptistchurch.org
